Biography:

Johann Schmidt, better known as Red Skull, is a supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics, primarily as the archenemy of Captain America. He was created by Joe Simon and Jack Kirby.

Born in Germany, Schmidt endured a harsh childhood. His life took a dramatic turn when he encountered Adolf Hitler, who saw in Schmidt a potential protégé. Hitler personally trained Schmidt, molding him into a ruthless instrument of Nazi ideology.

Schmidt adopted the persona of the Red Skull, a figure of terror and propaganda intended to inspire fear in enemies and bolster the Nazi cause. He oversaw various clandestine operations during World War II, engaging in acts of sabotage, espionage, and mass murder.

Following World War II, Red Skull continued to pose a global threat. A scientific accident, or perhaps more advanced experimentation, granted him a prolonged lifespan. He has since been a recurring adversary to not only Captain America but also various other heroes within the Marvel Universe. His schemes typically involve global domination and the propagation of extremist ideologies, evolving often from Nazism to concepts of a twisted world order.
